Surrey Spotlight – May 26, 2012

Here are the top 10 droppers among active listings in Surrey not including the South Surrey area which is reported under the White Rock region.  Imagine listing your home for $1.98M and then dropping the price to $1.19M, a 40% drop, and 2 months later still having it sit there on the listings.  That’s what is happening right now to someone in Surrey.  I had to double check to make sure the original listing wasn’t for a new home being built to spec on the property but no, that wasn’t the case.

    Surrey seems to have its bubble burst and on the way down. Many below assessment value.
