Recycling Stats – May 31, 2012

Here are the latest stats showing how many new listings are actually recycled listings that had been previously pulled.  First 3 columns show April’s new listings, recycled listings and overall percentage followed by the results for May.

Only 4 of the 28 areas had fewer new listings this month and of areas that had at least 100 new listings 18 of 21 had a higher recycling % this month.

    just going to get worst… we know the story… when listings go up.. homes dont sell, people get desperate and buyers flee!

    It is noteworthy that some of the markets are not adding many new listings.
    Some look like they are in trouble.

    I think showing percent increase in listing month to month would be useful too. I’m a bit surprised Abbotsford hasn’t increased, but I’ve met many people who have moved from Van to the FV for cheaper living.

    Maple Ridge is going to be an epicenter. The amount of residential construction out there is insane. It’s a race to the top out there.
