Here are the 10 properties outside of Metro Vancouver (Vancouver West, Vancouver East, Burnaby, Richmond, North Vancouver and West Vancouver) that changed their price or were relisted under a new MLS number the previous 1 week AND have the highest desperation score which is a formula based on price changes, relists and amounts pro rated for recency.  This will hopefully provide a more interesting look at the suburbs since previous weekly drops for these areas were completely filled with old condo’s and lot sales

    Nothing is from Surrey/White Rock 😦 Media reports seems correct that Surrey/White Rock market is crazy hot.

      I’ve been following the Surrey/White Rock market. I don’t think it’s crazy hot. Yes there are sales in houses, sometimes with price reductions, but condos sales are slow. Townhouse sales are luke warm usually with price reductions.

    Number #10 is an interesting one – I wonder if it is a foreclosure. They’ve dropped their price to $60,000 lower than the nearest unit for sale in the complex. Hardly a prime location, even for Maple Ridge, but if this unit sells and there isn’t anything further to the pricing, some of the owners may not be thrilled with the new comparable.

    The 99 Begin St. appears to be a cheap building as well compared to the local area – I presume there are some issues that have brought down the value of the complex as a whole.

    livefraservalley.ca is down since last 1 week. Does anyone know any other good website which shows complete details about the properties especially price changes? Remax.ca price change option is weird and never give any new result where I am sure that the price keep changing for properties every day.

      Yes, try http://univs.ca – it works well in terms of price reductions, etc. so long as the MLS remains the same. So it won’t work if the property gets re-listed with a new MLS number. I hope this is helpful.

      For what it’s worth, my observation about South Surrey/White Rock is that well priced homes around $1 million or less are selling (likely purchased by investors for rentals) while higher priced homes sell only if they are unique properties with reasonable pricing. There are lots of homes in the $1 million to $3 million range which are languishing on the market for months and months.
